We made it to Jackson Hole, WY
There hasn’t really been time for mischief this last couple of days, we’ve been too busy moving and driving. We left Utah later on Friday than we had planned and ended up driving late that night.

We stopped at a campground we have stayed at and loved before, sadly we only stayed the night and just got up and left the next morning.
Torrey and I rode with mom in the Jeep, which was really different, but worked out great anyway. I got the whole front seat to myself, heehee, and Torrey stretched out in the back.

Sunday evening we walked to the river behind the trailer. We had to cross about 8 inches of water that was maybe 3 feet across. Of course I get picked up in those situations. Mom and dad crossed on a tiny 4 inch log so they wouldn’t get wet feet.
Torrey is weird….she doesn’t like water. So she tried to cross on the little log too. Ya, not so much. First one foot fell in and she didn’t know what to do so she just stopped, one foot in the water the others trying to cling to the log. She tried to keep going on the log letting out little whimpers as she went. Eventually she realized none of this was going to work and she just sort of leaped across the water.
Sadly, mom didn’t have a camera. She was laughing so hard I’m not sure she could have taken a picture anyway.
Today is the Monday Mischief bloghop, so lets have a hopping good time!!

Water can sure cause mischief, especially for non water loving dawgs. Sounds like the trip to get to the river was an adventure.

Good to hear you made it. I wish You could have gotten a video of this scene. I had a horse that was afraid to step into water and would leap right over the stream. Somebody let her do this before I had her. With time and effort she finally excepted to trust my judgement and step into the stream. Sounds like Torrey is taking caution and will take her time getting used to this water situation. Believe it or not I have a cat (the three legged one) who will leap into water and play in it. I do not know how my dogs would react to going into the water. They do like their baths. Have fun, glad you made it. Glad you have your jeep fixed and with you. Enjoy the cool weather.
Hey Roxy, Hey Torrey, Jet here. Hi Miss Mary.
Quite brave to traverse the water! Wow… have to catch up about your move… have a great day.

Poor Torrey. I remember when I took Linus hiking and he was crossing the river. He had the same fear like he didn’t want to get his feet wet at all jumping from rock to rock across the river. He nearly fell over the side of a waterfall and I nearly had a heart attack. I’m glad you made it to WY safe and sound.
Happy Monday!
