Back home from the rendezvous

I realize I said we would be back and blogging by Monday, well…..ya.  We got back home to Jackson Hole late Sunday evening, and mom has been trying to play catch up the last two days.  I have been trying to play catch up too, on my nap time that is.  Torrey and I didn’t get to go out and play very much at the rendezvous. That was OK really, neither of us like the guns, or the hot weather, and their was plenty of both. Mom and dad got up every morning, grabbed their black powder rifles, pistols and their bows and arrows and off they went.

And of course they won lots of prizes, nothing doggie related though, {SIGH}

Here I am in the motorhome of my Auntie Shannon.
When we go to rendezvous we always camp next to our friends, who are pretty much our extended family. Auntie Shannon loves to watch us when mom and dad go play. Mike and Shannon had a nice little dog that went over the rainbow bridge two years ago, so we get to be their temporary dogs for a while.
Then our other friends, Jed and Myra, love us too. I even helped Jed have a nap one afternoon when he wasn’t feeling very good. I do what I can to help.
This is Jed and Myra shooting with dad, mom is the picture taker of course.

We all had a great time, as usual, mom and dad didn’t want to come home. It’s always so much fun to see all our friends.
And what about this sunset.

  1. Love all your pictures! We live vicariously through them. When it gets cooler we will explore around here in Northern Alabama. =)
