Sometimes you feel like a walk, sometimes you don’t
It’s not a surprise that my legs are little. Short, skinny….just little. When we go hiking I can usually keep up just fine, but when mom is out for her morning walk…..sheeesh!! She walks fast. Some days I’m OK with that, others…not so much. So thanks to our new sponsor, Kyjen, we were sent this great backpack so I can ride in style.
This backpack is from their Outward Hound line of products. It has three great pockets to carry stuff for me, well, mom puts in her phone or my leash, and of course some water. But it could carry treats if mom ever decided to put those in.
It has a safety hook inside so mom can just hook my harness up and I can’t go anywhere. I don’t really want to go anywhere, it’s pretty comfy in there actually.
There is also a mesh top that can be zippered shut, in case you are a real escape artist. The pack is really well made, yet doesn’t weigh hardly anything. We have used it on our morning walks, well I still think mom is really running, and it’s been awesome. If I get tired, mom just scoops me up, puts me in, and I’m good to go. Much easier than carrying me like she has been.
This is going to make life so much easier for me and mom on those days I just don’t want to walk too far, or too fast.
Roxy you are such a pampered girl. Your Mom loves you and wants to take you everywhere with her. You look so sweet riding along in the special back pack. Its been so hot here I have to sleep with a spray bottle full of water with a hint of lavender oil.

I have a Pet-a-Roo that we use when I get tired.
We go every day too and my peep walks fast too…and a long ways.
I often ride on the way back. This looks like a great product!

I’ve joked to my fiance that if we got a pug, I’d have to have a backpack like that so that on the return loop of the walk Elka and I took, the pug could ride instead of walk.

You look so super cute in there – that would have been handy at Blogpaws, with all the walking around!! I don’t think my Mum will be getting one though, as I’m a little big for a backpack – but love the idea for all my little Doggie friends!
