Playing at the dog park in Jackson Hole

We had a fun yet tiring day on Saturday. First, mom and dad wanted to go to the farmers market that is on the town square. Lot’s of people and quite a few dogs were there. They got some yummy fresh fruit and vegs, dad even bought a pie. Torrey and I, got nothing.  Well, mom dropped a cheese sample and Torrey caught it mid-air, so I guess she got something.

After the farmers market, mom took Torrey and I to the dog park. We have only been to a dog park a couple times in Park city, and that was last year when Torrey was still a puppy. So this was all pretty new and different for her.
I am the princess, and the boss, I don’t care how big you are. So when the bigger dogs were getting in my space, I let them know that wasn’t cool with me. Torrey didn’t know what to do, play, run away, or hide behind mom. Eventually everyone found their places and we had fun. Torrey got to run full speed around the park and that made her feel really good about life.

Torrey made friends with a couple of dogs her size, and they romped, ran and played.
Mom said between going to the busy farmers market, and then the dog park, Torrey got a good lesson on how not to be a social retard.

After all the other dogs left, we chilled under a tree for a while, then headed for home.
Tired and happy.

Today is the Monday Mischief blog hop, join in and have a hopping good time.

  1. That so cool Roxy. We dropped by to see what you guys were doing. I was amazed at how small you are. You look so tiny and cute. I really didn’t expect you were this small and adorable.

Anyway, I am glad you had fun in the dog park… even when mom only dropped you a piece of cheese Torrey caught..

    Huggies and Cheese,

  2. Sounds like you had a great time! Glad you stood your ground against all those big dogs, they’re always trying to push us little guys around! We love farmers markets too – no treats to eat, but lots of people petting and fussing over me, and that’s just as good! :)

  3. Sounds like a great time for the doggies at the park running and playing. We have our own dog park right in the back yard. Olly and Reggie run in circles all over the field. They circle the horse and goat then the chickens then run clear down to the back of the first three acres. Olly leaps through the tall wheat grass and Reggie hides from Olly. Reggies is learning from Olly the younger 8 month old . He is such a perfect size. Smaller like Torrey. That pie sounds good. My friend Margo and I went to breakfast at Dennys last Sat. and then to the Spanish Fork Farmers Market where I bought plenty of yummy fruits, etc. Our garden is terrific also so we have been canning alot.

  4. Hey Roxy, Hey Torrey, Jet here. Hi Miss Mary.

Wow, what a pawesome day, except for the part where you did not get any tidbits at the farmers market! Wish we had a dog park as pretty as that one! Mom would have LOVED the farmers market. You know what? She works at one for 1/2 the year!
