Happy Birthday Torrey

Pets add Life to every part of our lives

Today is mom’s turn at blogging. Hopefully she won’t screw it up. BOL

Torrey is 2 years old today. It seems so hard to believe we have had her in our family that long.

She came into our home when she was 8 weeks old and the cutest little fluff ball ever.

She has been a constant source of entertainment and laughter. When she was just tiny she would chase Roxy and want to play so bad. But Roxy was in no way going to have any of THAT. Play….hmph, you could hear her say. Despite the rocky start with her older sister, Torrey continued to grow and develop into a smart and playful puppy. Even showing artistic ability at 5 months of age.

Torrey has always loved the outdoors, and snow in particular.

Last year for her 1 year birthday it snowed. She was positive it had snowed just for her and had a blast with her new kong flyer.

She can be a little quirky, we are positive she wears a watch because she keeps such a tight schedule.
But she knows how to relax.

She insists on starting each day, and finishing each evening on my lap. Yes she is a 30 pound dog, and yes Roxy wants in on that too.

Even though she is the younger sister, and Roxy has the blog named after her, Torrey is perfectly content to take the back seat and get her share of face time on the blog. Which, is quite a bit of face time cause she is so darn cute.

After almost two years, Roxy and Torrey are best friends. Torrey watches out for Roxy all the time and I would hate to think what she would do if another dog came after Roxy. And, one time Roxy barked at a Newfoundland that came to say hello to Torrey but scared her to death instead. The Newf went away confused to say the least.

Roxy will be 8 soon, and I hope she lives a very long time. For my sake, but especially for Torrey’s. She would really miss her.

Here I am hiking with my three best friends, the hubs is behind the camera.
