Fall hike, and Torreys new pack

This past Sunday we all went up the canyon and enjoyed a great hike. The weather is perfect for hiking, and mom and dad said the scenery is awesome too. I don’t know about the scenery, when your 5 inches from the ground it’s kinda all the same, but the weather was cool and I love that. We hiked along a small stream that we had to cross many times.

Since Torrey and I are seasoned river crossers now, this was not a huge deal.

Notice in this picture though, that I was smart enough to cross on the little log bridge, while Torrey just plowed through the water.

Of course there was a lot to smell along the way, and Torrey chased  a few squirrels too.

Torrey got a new Outward Hound backpack from our fabulous sponsor, Kyjen. Mom was thrilled because Torrey carried our water, and treats. Which meant she didn’t have to. The joke is though, that if we could balance the other side of the pack, Torrey could carry me in one of the pouches.
I don’t know about that….

Mom wrote a full review of the backpack on Desert Raven Art today, so be sure and check that out.

We had a great day, and enjoyed the canyon, and ya….the scenery was awesome too.

  1. Seems like folks making these products are very grateful for your reviews plus trying them out for honest opinions. I am very impressed with the back pack. I’m also impressed that Torrey just plows through the water now. Roxy I know about being closed to the ground believe me.
