Today’s Artsy Fartsy Tuesday artist is Lisa Elley
Mom found Lisa through Google +. She put out a request for artists that wanted some free exposure, and Lisa said….”Count me in.” Well, maybe not in those exact words, but you know what I mean. Anyway, she is a great painter with an unusual technique. She does all her painting with a pallet knife. How cool is that!!
I love the colors too, all her paintings are just refreshing, and happy. To see more of Lisa’s work, and read a little about her, go to Desert Raven Art today.
This is beautiful! Hard to believe it is painted with a knife!

Ohhh she must work in oil then? My father once had a friend who painted using only a pallet knife and he worked with oil paints. So hard and so beautiful!

Absolutely lovely. I could never paint something like that with a brush – so imagining using a knife blows my mind!
