I received a copy of a dog training video, 3 Dog Days, from Angie Winters. I wanted to review the video because I have never really took a dog training course, and I’m always interested in learning new ways to train the dogs. My friend, who has the dog that chews everything, was interested in it too.
We both watched the video, and we were able to take something valuable from it. The video mostly is geared for people who have just brought home an adult dog, like a rescue. The training tips that Angie uses in that situation make perfect sense, and I can see it making a big difference. Dogs are smart, they are natural pack animals, and Angie uses these qualities to a training advantage. If I ever bring home an adult dog, I will use the techniques she teaches.
We were hoping that the video would help my friend train her dog to not chew, and have some everyday tips. But it really just covers the first 3 days when you bring an adult dog home. I would love to see a series of training videos that cover a wide range of training issues. Angie seems to really understand dog behavior and training, and more videos would be valuable.
